On the 5th and 6th of September Jeff Allen ( Who spent 21 years in the army) and Agata Hidalgo (Nutritionist) came to are school to show us the Healthy Lifestyle Program. Jeff talked about exercise , He talked about why its important and he told us stories about his time in the army. He broke down the HLP to 6 simple things exercise,diet,sleep,family and friends,work and relaxation. I learned that I should be doing all these things if i want to drive myself to achieve.
Agata talked about nutrition and obesity. I learned from her that I shouldn't be eating fatty foods and should be eating carbohydrates such as pasta and wheat.
Jeff also ran the Hunter Games for us which involved us splitting into teams and competing in various tasks. Some of these tasks were tug of war, sroup relay, shuttle run and snatch the bacon.The activities were very tiring but we battled through it and now feel more like a family.
